Light electric lines unobtrusively piercing through the whole set “Don’t Stop” create imponderable feelings of happiness and sublimity that charm the listener to come back to the album’s music again and again. The recent set is the newest release by Norwegian pop singer and DJ Annie, which is the second studio work of the artist performed in the style of synthpop and electropop. As well as the debut album “Anniemal” released in 2004, latest set comprises no guest stars that make it solid and fully harmonized.  The leading single “Songs Remind Me of You” is Annie’s cover of Stacey Q’s “Two of Hearts” (1986), meanwhile the first single “I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me” "reflects nice, delightful electropop, with luring synths.  Read more

Lights, "The Listening"

Canadian singer and songwriter Valerie Poxleitner also known as Lights presents her creation – debut release "The Listening". First full-length set refers Valerie’s creativity to such genres as new wave and synthpop. "The Listening" comprises 15 tracks that make its sounding a bit sickly- sweet, but in some moments very amorously pleasant. Almost all the album’s lyrics was written with Poxleitner participation cooperating with Thomas Salter and Dave Thomson to achieve poetic harmony. As a result dreamy light words scintillating with honeyed charming vocals are laid on graceful unobtrusive melodies create fascinating long lasting deep feelings.
The set opens with the lead single "Savior" passing steadiness mixed with inward joy, while track "Ice" refutes its title with ardent orotund tunes. Read more
